Welcome to BayWise
These terms apply to your use of the BayWise app and service. By downloading or using BayWise, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
What BayWise Is
BayWise is repair shop management software. It helps you track jobs, customers, vehicles, parts, time, and invoices. All data is stored on your device locally. We don't store anything in the cloud, and we don't have access to your data.
Service as-Is
BayWise is provided "as is" without any warranty, express or implied. We make no promises about:
- The app working 100% of the time without bugs
- The app working on every device or Android version
- Future compatibility with your device
- Performance or availability of features
Your Data Is Your Responsibility
All your data lives locally on your device. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your device secure
- Creating backups if you want to keep your data
- Restoring from backups if needed
- Protecting your device from theft or loss
We don't have copies of your data, so if something happens to your device, we cannot recover it.
We're Not Liable for Data Loss
If your data gets lost, deleted, corrupted, or damaged for any reason, we are not liable. This includes:
- Device crashes or failures
- App bugs or errors
- Accidental deletion
- OS updates that affect the app
- Loss, theft, or damage to your device
This is why we give you the backup and restore feature—use it.
Updates & Changes
We may update or change BayWise at any time, including:
- Adding new features
- Removing features
- Changing how it works
- Changing the interface
- Discontinuing the app entirely
We'll try to give you notice when we make big changes, but we don't have to.
You Own Your Data
You own all the data you create in BayWise—customer names, job information, invoices, everything. We have no claim to it. You can export, delete, or back up your data however you want.
Prohibited Uses
You may not use BayWise to:
- Break any laws
- Infringe on anyone's copyright or intellectual property
- Reverse-engineer, hack, or modify the app
- Resell or redistribute BayWise
- Use it for any illegal purpose
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Hi-Tech Redneck Consulting LLC is not liable for any damages, losses, or expenses related to your use of BayWise, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.
Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify Hi-Tech Redneck Consulting LLC against any claims, damages, or costs (including legal fees) arising from your use of BayWise or violation of these terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding must take place in the courts of Texas.
Entire Agreement
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, make up the entire agreement between you and Hi-Tech Redneck Consulting LLC regarding BayWise. If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest remains in effect.
